$131,000 Donated to Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida During Onboard Fundraisers at 2019 National Conference

6 children with critical illnesses will receive their wishes

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (October 30, 3019) – For the past eight years, Make-A-Wish^® has been the signature charity for Dream Vacations, CruiseOne^®, Cruises Inc.^® and parent company World Travel Holdings. Fundraising is always a core component of National Conference and this year, attendees raised more than $131,000 to enrich the lives of 26 children with critical illnesses.

While aboard Royal Caribbean International’s Symphony of the Seas, franchisees, agents, staff and suppliers participated in a variety of fundraising activities such as silent auctions, Zumba at Sea presented by Celebrity Cruises^®, and Royal Caribbean granting attendees – who make a donation – exclusive access to the Ultimate Abyss^®, the tallest slide at sea.
