If you're going to pursue your travel agent business full-time, Cruise Planners is an excellent agency even though the combination of upfront franchise fees, franchise annual charges, charges for internet support and use of the AMEX logo, etc. makes this an expensive proposition. Service is excellent if you're on the East Coast, mediocre if you're on the west coast.Their business strategy is a fine one for owners who can ramp us to at least $100K to 200K within a year;but is a bad deal if you want to pursue travel as a part-time opportunity. Also, the selling of franchises, I feel, is a major profit center for them.Does this review helpful?
