As a complete newcomer to the travel business, I did a lot of research before I chose to become a Cruise Planners agent. I called random agents and found out everything I could about them. I chose Cruise Planners because of the feedback I got from those agents. Even the ones who were really performing (and I spoke to a few of those) told me it had little to do with CP. They all said the information and support was second to none.Turns out they were right. I was up and running in no time with all of the support I was given. I'm a self starter in anything I do, so I jumped right in, took a lot of classes and webinars and went to vendor site after vendor site in order to familiarize myself with our preferred vendors and what they had to offer. Within three months I had booked more than my annual goal for my first year.
In addition, the community is great. The private facebook page of agents is incredibly generous with their experience and knowledge.
In general, I couldn't be happier with my decision. It's a really strong organization with the single goal of making their agents successful.
