Avoya Travel Conference Looks to Future of Travel and Vacation Planning

Celebrating record success, Avoya commits to further growth with groundbreaking 2025 plan

Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. – June 1, 2018– Avoya Travel®, one of the world’s most innovative travel brands, closed its annual Avoya Conference with big momentum as Independent Agencies in the Avoya Network™, industry leaders, suppliers, and support staff celebrated continuing record sales and Network growth. The event centered on Avoya’s bold vision for the future that strengthens growth with Independent Agencies, preferred suppliers, and travelers to create better vacation planning experiences.

Excitement surrounded the unveiling of Avoya 2025; the company’s innovative five-phase roadmap to becoming the number one vacation platform that will generate even more Shared Success™ at higher levels for travelers, Avoya Network Independent Agencies, and preferred supplier partners. At the core, Avoya’s goal is to reimagine and create the future of vacation planning. The 2025 plan leans into Avoya’s unique vacation platform and drives powerful, distinct customer experiences by bridging modern technologies with the personal service of Independent Agencies as well as generating deeper collaboration opportunities with supplier partners.

During Phase One, which launches in June 2018 and carries through November 2019, Avoya will connect more travelers with Independent Agencies in the Avoya Network, increase communication and business intelligence sharing between suppliers, Avoya, and the Network, and ultimately streamline efficiencies so Network members can spend more time booking travel and earning above industry-average incomes.

Incorporated within the Avoya 2025 plan, conference attendees were the first to learn of several new initiatives and innovative technology applications designed to deliver on the Phase One objectives and grow success for every stakeholder:

  • Independent Agencies: Avoya is increasing agency support through enhanced education with its new CLIA partnershipand expanded Mastermind program, new Agent Power™ technology enhancements that improve workflow and save time, and access to intuitive sales intelligence so Network members can better service customers and grow sales.
  • Supplier Partners: Avoya is expanding supplier partnerships to generate new markets of customers and growing its portfolio in the all-inclusive resort space, providing more visibility on performance analysis for increasing overall profitability, and strengthening collaboration and access to the Avoya Network using new two-way technology.
  • Travelers: Avoya is creating more modern and interactive ways for Independent Agencies to connect with customers, delivering better customer contact preferences, adding personalized content and experiences for consumers online, and driving stronger customer value and retention through a new loyalty-focused initiative.

While looking to the future, Avoya also celebrated milestone achievements during the conference. As a result of Avoya’s record success, which hails double-digit sales increases for 2017 and triple-digit Network growth, Avoya honored more Independent Agencies as top producers for annual sales than ever before. Additional standout moments included, Avoya’s annual Make-A-Wish partnership presentation, Royal Caribbean International’s Caribbean Nights, and Carnival Corporation’s cocktail party at the refurbished Long Beach Cruise Terminal, the celebratory Chairman’s Great Gatsby Gala onboard the Queen Mary, and a first-look at modern cruising onboard the Norwegian Bliss inaugural.
