When I decided to start my part time travel business, I did a lot of research into Host Agencies. I knew I needed a host agency early on in my travel business journey as I had never run my own business or sold travel and have a full time job. When I first called Avoya to get information, I was impressed with their professionalism and their program. Their core values are based on integrity and professionalism and I’ve seen it every step of the way as I’m learning this business.Avoya referred me to Career Quest for general travel agent training, and then once I completed the training I was able to begin the Avoya Academy. The education and training that Avoya provides is easy to follow, comprehensive, and overall very well done. The best part for me is that I could do it on my own time; after work and weekends. There were a couple of live sessions and I was able to attend on a Saturday.
One of the advantages of Avoya is their live leads program, where by Avoya sends you contact information for people who have queried their web site requesting information. The education offered by Avoya combined with their live leads program is fantastic, but the one thing that has been the absolute best for me is the support I have received from Avoya. I have had so many questions as a new independent agent and I have consistently received timely and accurate information that has helped me close a few sales – and I’ve only been doing this three months!
