I cant say that my experience with Cruise Brothers was all bad - but I can say my experience with Cruise Brothers did not end well.Because Cruise Brothers is "Free" it is a good place to go to get your feet wet and determine if working in the travel industry is really for you - just remember you get what you pay for. The level of commission (50% of what they receive from the vendor) is paid several weeks AFTER the travel is complete - regardless of the fact that Cruise Brother receives commissions from many/most vendors immediately after final payment has been made.
When working with Cruise Brothers, in spite of being an Independant Contractor, you are assigned to a "Team Leader". Not sure how others were, but I went through two different ones and was unhappy with both. Support from the team leader was minimal - emails were "plenty" - basically the only form of training received. One of the many reasons I left Cruise Brothers was due to continuous threats of docking commissions for asking questions that may have already been answered elsewhere. Also - "Dumb" questions often found themselves forwarded to the entire "team"
Again, Cruise Brothers may be good place to start your travel business at no cost - but from my experience, there are better options out there.
