Review

When we were starting our travel business and looking for a host agency, we reached out to a few different host agencies that--based on our initial research--seemed to provide good support for new agents, without a huge financial commitment up-front, and customized training. Uniglobe Travel Center fit the bill for us 100%.

Admittedly, we don't have experience with other agencies to provide a comparison, but we definitely have had a terrific experience with UTC, right out of the gate.

The Mentor U program has been perfect for us. Rather than going through modules and training programs for the kinds of travel that we're not likely to sell, we've had a customized training that is unique to us. And, in the process, we've forged a personal relationship with our mentors. So, when you see other reviews of UTC describing it as a "family." Well, this is the real deal. We're absolutely supported in everything we try to do, and the support is personal, customized and totally authentic.

Beyond that, we've found their relationships with preferred providers to be a huge help. We've earned better commissions because of UTC's relationships and networks. We're rarely at a loss to go outside of their preferred suppliers, and on the off-chance that we've needed to go off-preferred to satisfy a client, it's not been a problem.

We absolutely made the right decision to go with Uniglobe Travel Center. If you're new to the industry, and you're looking for help in both (1) learning how to book travel for clients; and (2) learning how to grow, develop and market your new business--well, look no further. I mean--do your due dillegence and everything--but I'm betting you wind up with UTC.
