Outside Agents Review

I've been with OA for about six months as a new agent. Still haven't made a sale, but I'm doing what I can as far as training. There's a lot of great information, but the website could be better organized and have a better search feature so the same questions aren't asked over and over in the forums. It's been a bit of a rocky road with some information being difficult to find, and sometimes conflicting advice. You're encouraged to train first and train well before booking, but you only have six months from when you sign up to get a booking (any kind) to keep your membership. So I feel that's a conflict. It takes time to set up a new business and get trained and I personally think 6 months isn't enough to build a business from scratch, train, market and successfully book a first client. On the other hand, help is always there if you ask. I just feel like I end up asking more than I'd like because I'm not able to find what I'm looking for on the website. I'm also extremely appreciative of the fact that they don't charge large up front fees. I trust the management more because I know they're not profiting off of me unless I'm profiting too!
