There is no single reason why I believe that Avoya Travel is the perfect agency for anyone who wants to be a travel professional.. It is a case of the total is greater than the sum of the individual parts. The reason I first thought about being a travel agent is that I was looking for something useful to do when I retired from my engineering career and I loved to travel and the planning process is that I was looking for something to do in retirement. At that time, I talked with my travel agent, who was an Avoya IA and she encouraged me to become a travel professional and join Avoya. The main reason that I joined Avoya was the live leads program. After I joined Avoya, I quickly learned that there was so much more than the live leads program. The educational opportunities that Avoya provides to learn about the various vendors and the professional training, primarily Mastermind, to improve my skills as a travel professional are amazing. The support staff has very patiently answered my questions and been there for me when I got myself into a corner. Also the support from other IAs via the Facebook page and talking with them at conferences has helped immeasurably. Another major advantage that Avoya has, at least to me, is the environment of a family business. This is a tone that has been set by the Anderson family and implemented by the senior executives. In summary, these are the reasons that would strongly recommend Avoya Travel to any individual that is interested in being a travel professional.Does this review helpful?
